This Lake County Crime Stoppers Program began in 1983. Our Program now operates as an independent organization. The concept has developed into a combination of efforts by local media, businesses, civic and social clubs, law enforcement agencies, and the public. Donations of airtime, newspaper space, and reward monies have established Crime Stoppers as an effective tool to fight crime in the area.

Lake County Crime Stoppers mission is to provide the highest quality confidential informant services based on fairness, honest, integrity, and pride. Crime Stoppers strives to improve services through problem solving and partnerships with Lake County citizens to insure a safe place in which to live, work or visit.
