The Waukegan Police Department is seeking information about a homicide that occurred on March 24th at approximately 4:40pm in the 2700 block of Washington St. The victim, a male in his early 20’s, died of a gunshot wound. One suspect is described as a thin male black who left the scene after getting into a light-colored sedan.

The Lake Forest Police Department and the Lake County Crime Stoppers are requesting your assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a Road Rage Shooting. On Wednesday September 16, 2020 at 7:59 pm, Lake Forest Police responded to the area of southbound Rte. 41 and Rte. 60 for a report of a man lying in the roadway. A male was discovered on the ground bleeding from a gunshot wound to the leg. Lake Forest officers applied first aid to the victim, secured the scene and began investigating the incident. Investigation revealed this incident may have begun as a road rage incident that started between the victim, who was driving a dark colored SUV and the suspect vehicle which was identified as a white Dodge Charger with two Mexican flags in the rear window.
The Investigation suggest that the occupants of the two vehicles became upset at each other and when the vehicles stopped at the red light at Rte. 41 and Rte. 60, both drivers exited their vehicles and engaged in a heated exchange of words which led to shots being fired by both parties. The white Dodge Charger was last seen driving west on Rte. 60 from the scene and possibly has damage to the rear window from one or more gunshots.

The Lake Forest Police Department along with the Lake County Crime Stoppers is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a series of vehicle burglaries in Lake Forest, IL. On July 10, 2020, at approximately 4:30 pm, a Male Black subject entered vehicles parked in the Knollwood Club parking lot in Lake Forest, IL. The subject then fled the area in a newer model silver colored Dodge Ram Pick-up truck with tinted windows. This same vehicle has been seen on video surveillance driving through parking lots of other country clubs in the area.
This subject is described as being a Male/Black in his early 20’s to early 30’s with short hair wearing a white colored polo-shirt.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals who committed the April 6, 2020 armed robbery of a U.S. Postal Service Letter Carrier on the 1700 Block of Glenn Drive, North Chicago, IL 60064. The robbery occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m.
The suspects fled the area on foot. The two suspects have the following descriptions:

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Zion Police Department request your assistance in identifying Armed Robbery suspects. On Tuesday March 31, 2020 at 6:41 am, Zion police responded to a report of an Armed Robbery at the McDonald’s restaurant located at 2008 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Two male/black subjects wearing surgical-type masks entered the restaurant and one subject proceeded to place an order for pickup. When the employee opened the cash drawer, both subjects pulled handguns and pointed them at the employee. One subject reached over the counter and pulled cash from the open register. The second subject walked behind the counter, pointed the gun at other employees and attempted to get them to open the cash register at the drive through window. This was unsuccessful. Both subjects fled out the north door of the business and were last seen walking northeast away from the building.
The subjects are described as: #1 - Male/Black, tall, wearing all black clothing, black stocking cap, black shoes with white soles, blue surgical mask. Displayed a black handgun. #2 - male/Black, shorter, grey stocking hat, black mask, black/white coat with black hood up, brown Timberland-style boots. Displayed a large frame semi-automatic pistol.

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Zion Police Department request your assistance in identifying the suspects in an Armed Robbery – Carjacking incident that occurred on March 31, 20202 at 1:03 pm in the 2600 block of Sheridan Rd. in Zion, IL. As the victim was entering his vehicle, he was approached by a group of five male/black subjects. One of the subjects grabbed the driver’s side door as the victim was attempting to close it, pointed a black semi-automatic handgun with a gray slide at him and demanded the victim get out of the car and give him the keys. The victim complied and exited the vehicle. The five offenders entered the victim’s vehicle, a 2007 Infiniti G35 4-door sedan, silver in color IL registration: AN 22568. The vehicle has noticeable cracks on the front bumper, a rosary necklace hanging from the rear-view mirror and a visible white scuff mark on the rear bumper. The vehicle was last seen driving north in the 2600 block of Elim Avenue.
The victim described the offender with the gun as being a Male/Black 5’8” – 6’, thin build, late teens or early 20’s, dark complexion scruffy & unkempt facial hair; and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans. Security video in the area identified the other four offenders as all wearing dark hooded sweatshirts or coats. One is wearing white pants. One is wearing dark pants with a white stripe running down the pants and another appeared to have dark stonewashed jeans with rips running down the front. The fourth was wearing dark pants. At least one of the offenders was wearing a light blue surgical mask.

Some members of this crew have recently been identified throughout the Lake & Cook County area, as well as numerous states throughout the Country.
This crime crew specifically targets Health Clubs, Gyms and Fitness Centers where they go into the locker rooms and steal credit cards from lockers. They then immediately use those credit cards at stores such as Apple stores and other retailers including Footlocker, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Sephora, Armani, Burberry, and Best Buy. Losses per day have averaged in excess of $30,000. The crew conducts their operations by using rental vehicles and they travel in small groups. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS OF SUSPECTS)

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Zion Police Department are seeking your help in identifying two robbery suspects. On 09/19/2019 at 8:21 am, two suspects entered the Phillips 66 Gas Station at 1701 Kenosha Rd. in Zion, IL where one of the suspects threatened to stab the clerk (no knife was displayed). Both suspects then fled on foot with approximately 20 cartons of cigarettes.
Suspect #1 is described as a male/black, between 20-25 years old, approx. 5'10", short hair, muscular build. He was wearing a black hoodie with gray stripes on the sleeves and matching sweatpants and white or gray Nike shoes. Suspect # 1 is the one who threatened to stab the clerk, but no knife was displayed.
Suspect #2 is described as a male, black, between 17-20 years old, approx. 6'3", thin build and short spikey braids. He was wearing a black, zip up jacket with a red symbol on the upper left chest, blue jeans and black shoes.

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Round Lake Park Police Department are seeking your help in obtaining information related to a Multiple Shots Fired incident that occurred on August 24, 2019 at 10:30 PM in the 300 block of Forest Glen Drive in Round Lake Park, IL. The offenders fired more than a dozen shots, striking the home and a vehicle parked in front of the home. At the time of the shooting, the home was occupied by several adults and juveniles, along with three infant children. Fortunately, there were no injuries related to this incident. This is the third report of shots being fired at this home this year.

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Barrington Police Department are seeking your help in obtaining information related to a Possible Hate Crime that occurred on May 31, 2019 in the 700 block of S. Cook Street in Barrington, IL. It was reported that sometime overnight or in the early morning hours, an unknown offender(s) came onto the residential property and stuck multiple forks in the lawn. It was also determined that the offender also put a "for sale" sign in the yard. Written on the sign was the phone number for the national suicide hotline along with the statement "go {expletive deleted} KYS," which stands for kill yourself. A member of this household identifies their self as a member of the LGBTQ community, and it is suspected that the actions were directed towards that individual.

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Lake Forest Police Department are seeking your help in identifying the offenders of a Theft and Identity Theft incident that occurred on May 19, 2019 where credit cards were stolen from wallets belonging to a pastor's wife and mother at the Church of the Covenants in Lake Forest, IL during a morning prayer service. Church members recalled seeing a male white, approximately 6'00" tall, 185-200 pounds, wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans in the church that same morning and did not recognize him as a member of the congregation. Later that same day at 1:13 p.m., a male/white subject used one of two stolen American Express credit cards at the Family Dollar store located at 610 S. Genesee, Waukegan, IL. Later that night, and on 05/20/19, a series of charges at a local grocery store and two gas stations (Waukegan, IL area) as well as several Gurnee Mills stores was made by a male black subject using the same stolen credit cards.

The Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Round Lake Park Police Department are seeking your help in obtaining information related to an Attempted Armed Robbery that occurred on January 9, 2019 at approximately 5:00 pm at the intersection of Greenwood and Willow in Round Lake Park, IL. A teal hatchback, possibly a late model Ford Explorer was stopped at that intersection with its hazards on. When a citizen stopped to ascertain if they needed help, a male subject displaying a handgun exited the “stalled” vehicle and demanded the Good Samaritan driver exit his vehicle. That driver then sped off without incident. Offender #1 is a Male/Black, 6’00” wearing a white shirt. Offender #2 is only described as being a Male/Hispanic.
